The fire broke out around 3:45 PM at a site managed by a company specialising in the recycling of automobile scrap metal. Black smoke billowed into the sky and was visible from extensive distances. Firefighters successfully rescued one individual who was trapped in a sorting machine known as a "bagger." Alena Kisialová, a spokesperson for the emergency services, confirmed that medical assistance was not required for any staff members.
